Psoriasis

Psoriasis will appear as patches of silvery scales or red areas on the arms, legs, knees, elbows, scalp, ears, and back. Toes and fingernails can become pitted and develop ridges. The condition is not contagious. Psoriasis normally has a pattern of flare-ups alternating with periods of remission, most common between ages of 15 and 25 however may appear at other ages as well. Attacks can be triggered by tension, stress, and nervousness. The underlying cause of psoriasis is not known, however it may be related to faulty utilization of fat. Current research also indicates a immune system role in psoriasis. The buildup of toxins in the colon has also been linked so a colon cleansing maybe very helpful.
