Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is caused by the "under" production of thyroid hormone. The thyroid gland is the body's thermostat that regulates your temperature thru two hormones that control how quickly the body burns calories. Symptoms of hypothyroidism are: fatigue, appetite loss, cannot handle cold temperatures, slow heart rate, weight gain, painful pre-menstrual periods, milky discharge from breasts, fertility problems, hair loss, dry scaly skin, depression goiter, droopy eyes. If you feel cold while others around you are hot this is a good warning sign
