Candidiasis


Candidiasis also known as "candida" is a type of parasitic yeast like fungus that gets in your intestines, genital tract, throat, and mouth. Normally, this fungus lives in balance with other bacteria and yeasts in the body; however, sometimes it starts to multiply too much, weakening the immune system and causing an infection called candidiasis.  Symptoms include: constipation, headaches, diarrhea, bad breath, PMS, memory loss, mood swings, acne, night sweats, vaginitis, and depression.
 
Nutrient / Supplement Helpful notes
Essential Fatty acids extremely important in healing and preventing the fungus of candida from destroying cells. Fatty acids are found in omega fatty acids from fish oil, flax seed oil, and borage seed oil.
vitamin B B vitamins are needed for all body functions, resistance to infection and works with magnesium.
Multi-vitamin Mineral supplement contains vitamin B, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A, manganese, selenium which all are helpful for Candidiasis. The nutrients contained in a daily supplement are required for good general health and well being.

Garlic garlic has been shown to inhibit the infecting organism
Calcium often is deficient in people who have candida infections
Magnesium the mineral magnesium helps work with the calcium
